Inactive - The license has been issued but is not currently valid for use. The licensee may not perform licensed/regulated activities (such as smog check inspections or related repairs, or vehicle safety system inspections) until all outstanding requirements for licensure have been satisfied and the license is returned to valid status.

Probation - The license was subject to revocation due to disciplinary action; however, the revocation has been stayed, and the license is placed on probation. The licensee must comply with all terms and conditions of probation for the duration of the probationary period. Failure to comply may result in revocation or additional disciplinary action.
